Posted in General Yesterday I had the pleasure to have a 4 hour talk with Sara Bocaneanu about internet, GTD, Macs and web 2.0 startups in Romania etc. So many ideas that I could write 10 posts just to list them all.
However there is one question that I wanna ask you. This one is hunting me for a while is: “Off all the many web applications that are released each day and receive press coverage on websites like Techcruch …. how many do you use?”. Because I use close to none…. and I am an informed person when it comes to this matter. It has been 2 years since I had my first presentation about Web 2.0 and my famous Web 2.0 post was written…. but since then nothing notable happened. My web 2.0 environment consist of a small number of websites: Wikipedia, Digg, Redit, Gmil and Google Docs, Flickr. Yep there is a big fuzz about Facebook and I have hundreds of business partners on LinkedIn etc…. But what about all the other 1000000 companies that get funded and reach the market? I find most of them useless and silly. What apps do you use beyond the superstars like Google and Wikipedia?
